This week we’re trying something a little different. Not only is our show a little bit shorter, and more streamlined we’ve also added a completely new segment called “Buy or Sell”. In this segment, we toss around a handful of questions and we give out a percentage based on how likely we think it is. So like, do you buy this concept? How sure are you? Are you really sure? Ok! We’ve also cut down the talking on the classic pause or continue segment into 30 seconds for each person. We don’t stop there, each persons’ face time is also cut down to 30 seconds when it’s all said and done. We aim for about an hour’s worth of content, perfect for the bus ride home!
We also encourage people to send in questions for both the Buy or Sell segments, or the Pause or Continue segment. Feel free to send those along with other comments to Pauseorcontinue@gmail.com
This week we discussed E3. Of course!
Here’s this weeks POC questions: Microsoft’s Avatar system and new Dashboard were shown off with somewhat mixed responses from the online community, is this a step forward for Microsoft or a step towards alienating their core
fan base?
Final Fantasy XIII was announced for Xbox 360, is this a big deal for Microsoft, or a bigger loss of an exclusive for Sony?
Microsoft’s much anticipated “LIPS” has finally been unveiled, is this the next Guitar Hero, or will this mark the first major failure in the music trend?
Speaking of Music games, Nintendo finally showed off Wii Music after having locked it in a Hyrulian Treasure Chest for the past two years, is this a step forward in music titles or merely
a simple music flailing game?
Wii Sports Resort was announced and will be packaged with “Wii Motion Plus”, will this be the biggest title of the year or is it going to be held back by supply limits on the new peripheral
and a lack of interest in the franchise?
Speaking of packaged Peripherals, Animal Crossing for Wii will include WiiSpeak, is this a good idea or a peripheral that will be used less than the power pad or ROB the Robot?
Sony announced a brand new SKU for the Playstation 3 doubling the hard drive size for the low cost model, is this a good way to counter Microsoft’s hard drive increase and
recent price drop or is it a bit too little?
Sony also announced MAG, a 256 person action extravaganza. Will this be a crucial system seller for Sony, or a bandwidth consuming lag ridden disaster?
Finally, what was the biggest surprise of E3’s press conferences?
